Learning Change-up

As an addendum to my last post, I downloaded Adobe Photoshop. One case of carpal tunnel later, I haven't had much luck figuring it out. I guess the instructions have to be purchased separately. The features on my scanner are easier to use. I have a couple of projects in mind. To start with, I'd like to start an artist trading card series featuring state birds. I downloaded a picture of a cardinal to practice drawing with. The cardinal covers seven states, so I figure that is a good place to start. My other project will deal with what I think goes on in a person's mind. What I think goes on could be quite a stretch, since I am bit of a flake, but I will give it a go anyway.
